It means that the age differs due to their values formation. As a whole the researchers conclude that there is a significance between the age of the students and the factors affecting their values formation. While they are growing they were already aware and learned a lot of things while they were guided by their mother sisters, helping brothers and also their fellow brothers as well. The Five Point Likert Scale was used to treat the data, so based on the results, the highest percentage in the demographic profile of the Grade 9 students were the students in the age of 14 years old in which in this stage they learned a lot of things and values. And in qualitative phase: 20 students will be drawn out from 205 students of the grade 9 students. A Mixed method design was used in this study, an Explanatory Sequential Research for quantitative phase: 205 will be drawn out from 419 Grade 9 students using stratified random sampling technique. The researchers hypothesized that there is no significant relationship between the Students Values Formation and the Salient Factors Contributing to this. This research focused on determining and explaining the student's values formation and the salient factors that contributing to the Grade 9 students in the Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, Inc. Moreover, the profile of the respondents cannot predict the said dominant residential communication accommodation strategy. Furthermore, there was a significant difference on the level of practiced of the dominant residential communication accommodation strategy and that it is Highly Practiced generally with an over-all weighted mean of 4.38 at the standard error of 0.05. Results show that the dominant residential communication accommodation strategy was practice by the respondents. In addition, the quantitative phase was stratifiedly participated by 256 respondents through a survey research. A researchers’-made instrument utilizing a 5-point Likert`s Scale was pilot-tested to 48 respondents. It was found out that majority of the respondents were identified as having Convergence Communication Accommodation Strategy. in the qualitative phase, an Ethnographic study through immersion-observation was conducted, and using an unstructured interview guide, an in-person interview was conducted. Based on the result, the researchers recommended that the students should study well and be motivated to have a good academic performance in Mathematics.ĪBSTRACT This exploratory sequential study was conducted to identify the dominant residential communication accommodation strategy as a cultural trademark of the Grade 12 students of the Sisters of Mary School-Girlstown Inc. The researchers also find out that teachers’ performance perceived by students has no significant relationship with the academic performance of the student-respondents with the correlation coefficient of 0.121976 with 1.39 as the critical value. with the correlation coefficient of 0.26556 and 0.27887, respectively and 1.39 as the critical value. The findings of the study showed that motivation and study habits have significant relationship with the academic performance of the grade-nine students in the Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, Inc. Moreover, 202 students are chosen to be the respondents in the first phase and 16 students are taken from the 202 respondents for the second phase. It used survey questionnaire in gathering the necessary data in the quantitative phase and semi-structured interview in the qualitative phase, to validate the quantitative findings, as research instrument.
